Adopting a Community School

We have adopted a small school on the outskirts of the town, a particularly impoverished area where up to 50% of the children are H.I.V. positive.

We have provided the school with resources to improve the fabric of the building, a water tank (which benefits the whole community)

We support in the funding of teachers which means even if families are unable to pay their fees the school can continue to function.

Members of the charity have also spent time in the school teaching and enriching the curriculum through play.

We have built dormitories and provided beds for the Primary 7 pupils who board at the school during the year leading up to their SATs. These exams enable them to move onto high school

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Covid-19 has effected our school and we need handwashing equipment for the staff and pupils, beds for the dormitories, donations towards the staff salaries, pens and pencils and educational books for Primary children.

We are also looking for sponsors for our boarding pupils
